Jessica is an ambassador for Samen Sterk Zonder Stigma (Strong Together Against Stigma Foundation). She is also a communications advisor. She has her own company, MerkVaardig, in which she focuses on people-oriented communication about mental health.
In the past, Jessica has had two major depressions and was hospitalized as a result of them. It was the worst but at the same time the best thing that could have happened to her.
She has been participating in the Socialrun since 2017; a non-stop relay run that takes place every year in September and aims to promote openness and discussion about mental illness. True or Nonsense has been made possible with a subsidy from the Socialrun.
